Casters Unleashed, Dev Spotlight, Under Wraps Returns and a Rogue's Gallery Reveal!
As summer begins its slow burn into our memories we find ourselves reflecting on just how far we've traveled together as a community in these past few months, and we look ahead to the adventure still in front of us...
While the developer's objective was to test during pre-alpha, our VIP testers had a different idea - to have a great time playing together! GMs tailed groups of adventurers just like you as they explored new zones, delved into unexplored dungeons, and unearthed exciting new boss fights. Watching these players work together to defeat never-before-seen enemies has been tremendously satisfying…
Even with a few bumps and bruises along the way. I spoke to a pre-alpha Monk player who's group was taking a break from gearing up to help another team reach their corpses.
And while the VIP players are busy dismantling risen skeletons together, the developers are hard at work squashing enemies of a different sort — bugs. Each improvement brings us one small step closer to launch.
And it's all thanks to you, the Pantheon community. From the very start, many of you have dedicated your precious time, energy, and hard-earned money to bring the world of Terminus one step closer to reality.
None of this would be possible without your exceptional dedication and contributions.
Speaking of dedication, August also brought us two new live streams, the first with our friend CohhCarnage and the second with a round table of MMO All-Star streamers who thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they dove into Pantheon for the first time. We hope you were able to catch at least one, if not both - but don't fret if you missed it, there is definitely more where those came from on the horizon.
Now that all twelve launch classes have been revealed, you've got some time to pick your favorite. Which are you itching to try out first?
Summoner, Wizard, Enchanter, Druid, Cleric, Shaman, Ranger, Rogue, Monk, Warrior, Dire Lord, or Paladin?
Each and every one of the launch classes will be available to play and test in the next version of the game: Pre-Alpha 4 and through to launch.
Every little bit of your help gets us closer to that launch. Even a $5 monthly pledge could contribute towards hiring a new programmer whose efforts could bring launch closer by weeks… even months.
